Step back in time to a bygone era and take a ride on a heritage train! At the Historical Mornington Railway there are both steam and diesel heritage broad gauge locomotives and passenger cars between Moorooduc and Mornington on Sunday 11th June.

First train departs Moorooduc Station, Moorooduc Highway Cnr Two Bays Rd at 11am, then 12:15pm, 1:45pm & 3pm

Explore yourself or take a guided tour around Man Street Mornington to discover the history of the former Schnapper Point fishing village. Browse in boutiques and stop at the old bank to withdraw beer, wine and cocktails. See Victoria’s oldest courthouse and adjoining lock-up, and embark on an historical adventure. Guided walks depart from the Old Post Office Museum on selected days.

On both Sunday 11th June and Monday 12th June, guided walks will take place at:

10.30am – Historic Main Street Walk, $5 (includes booklet), approx. 1 hour

1.30pm – Historic Esplanade Walk, $5 (plus $5 for booklet), approx. 1 hour

Walks leave from Old Post Office Museum, corner Main Street and Esplanade, Mornington – please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before start time. No bookings required, for enquiries contact Vicky ph. 0412 989 749.
